If you are leaving after, you must check out of the room at 11AM, but do not worry, you can still use our facilities, as long as you need. Also, we offer a room to store your luggage free of charge.
Late check-outs without prior notice, may incur an extra charge.
Late check-ins must be informed at our reception. Our team is here 24/7.
Reservation policy:
You can make reservations through the Black Swan Hostel website: http://blackswanhostelgranada.kross.travel/ or contacting us by email: [email protected].
When you make a reservation, you will be asked to provide a valid ID, full name, email, phone number, credit card number an expire date.
Cancellation Policy:
Standard Rate: 48 hours before arrival.
Modifications and cancellations: Reservations can be modified or cancelled free of charge 48 hours before the day of arrival. After this time, the price of the first night will be charged. Any modification or cancellation must be requested by email: [email protected], in order to be registered and to avoid any problems.
No Shows: The total amount will be charged, and the reservation will be cancelled, if the guest doesn’t show up without informing us.
Non Refundable Rate: If you have made a reservation with a non-refundable rate, through http://blackswanhostelgranada.kross.travel/ or any other website, such as booking.com, Hostelworld.com or Expedia.com, the total amount of the reservation may be charged at any time. If you cancel your reservation, or in case of not showing up, the total amount will be charged, and not refund will be given.
Payment methods: Payment by credit cards or debit cards. Payment must be done before arrival.
Special Reservations Policy
For important dates and events:
• Ester Week.
• Feria
• Final or semifinal of football (King’s cup final, Europa League).
• New Year’s Eve.
Groups (bookings of 6 or more people) and reservation more than 350,00€:
For the above there is a 14 day cancellation policy. Reservations can be modified or cancelled free of charge at least 14 days before the day of arrival. We reserve the right to pre-charge the reservations for 50% of the total amount any time from receiving the reservation. If the reservation cannot be pre-charged, we will inform you by email and you will have 48h to respond. if we do not hear from you, your reservation will be cancelled. 14 days before arrival we will charge the rest of the reservation. From that date, free cancellation will not be possible.
Groups must pay a deposit that we will return at the end of their stay.
If you have a group booking, we will always try our best to put you together in the same dorm, but keep in mind this is a hostel and it is not always possible!
Age restriction:
Only guests above 18 years old can stay in the hostel.
Students that are under 18 years old at the time of check-in, cannot stay, even if they are accompanied by tutors.
General information:
• Towels for rent: 3.50 €.
• Padlock to buy: 3.00€.
• Reception open 24h.
• No curfew.
• No alcohol is to be consumed in the hostel dorms.
• Lost keys will incur a charge of 5’00 €.
• Hostel Management and Staff reserve the right to refuse guest’s stay or cancel reservations if standards of behavior are not met, in such cases no refunds will be made.
• All Stag/Hen parties must occupy entire rooms, they cannot share with other guests.
• Kitchen can be used from 7 am to Midnight.
• Only payments by card are acepted

1. USER INFORMATION
Who is the controller of your personal data?
CHICSTAYS S.L. is the CONTROLLER of the USER’s personal data and informs him/her that these data shall be processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April (GDPR) and the Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December (LOPDGDD).
Why do process your personal data?
To maintain a commercial relationship with the user. The planned processing operations are:
• Sending commercial advertising communications by email, fax, SMS, MMS, social networks, or by any other electronic or physical means, present or future, that make it possible to carry out commercial communications. These communications will be made by the CONTROLLER and will be related to their products and services, or those of their partners or suppliers with whom they have reached a promotion agreement. Third parties will never have access to personal data in this case.
• Conduct market research and statistical analysis.
• Processing orders, requests, responding to queries or any type of request made by the USER through any of the contact methods available at the CONTROLLER’s website
• Send the online newsletter on our activity's news, offers, and promotions.
Why can we process your personal data?
Because the processing is legitimized by Article 6 of the GDPR as follows:
• With the USER’s consent: sending commercial communications and the newsletter.
• In the legitimate interest of the CONTROLLER: conduct market research, statistical analysis, etc., and process orders, requests, etc. at the request of the USER.
For how long will we keep your personal data?
Data shall be stored for no longer than is necessary to maintain the purpose of the processing or for as long as there are legal prescriptions dictating their custody, and when such purpose is no longer necessary the data shall be erased with appropriate security measures to ensure the anonymization of the data or their complete destruction.
To whom do we disclose your personal data?
No communication of personal data to third parties is foreseen except, if necessary for the development and execution of the purposes of the processing, to our suppliers of services related to communications, with which the CONTROLLER has signed the confidentiality and data processor contracts required by current privacy regulations.
What are your rights?
The rights of the USER are:
• Right to withdraw consent at any time.
• Right of access, rectification, portability, and erasure of your data and the limitation or objection to their processing.
• The right to file a claim with the Spanish Supervisory Authority (www.aepd.es) if you consider that the processing does not comply with the current legislation.

2. COMPULSORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE USER
The USERS, by marking the corresponding boxes and entering data in the fields, marked with an asterisk (*) in the contact form or download forms, accept expressly and in a free and unequivocal way that their data are necessary for the supplier to meet their request, voluntarily providing their data in the remaining fields. The USER ensures that the personal data provided to the CONTROLLER are true and is responsible for communicating any changes to them. The CONTROLLER informs that all data requested through the website are mandatory, as they are necessary for the provision of an optimal service to the USER. In the event that not all of the data is provided, there is no guarantee that the information and services provided will be completely adapted to the User’s needs.
3. SECURITY MEASURES
That in accordance with the provisions of the current regulations on the protection of personal data, the CONTROLLER is complying with all the provisions of the GDPR and LOPDGDD regulations for processing the personal data for which they are responsible and is manifestly complying with the principles described in Article 5 of the GDPR, by which they are processed in a lawful, fair and transparent manner in relation to the data subject and appropriate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.
The CONTROLLER guarantees that all appropriate technical and organizational policies have been implemented to apply the security measures established by the GDPR and LOPDGDD in order to protect the rights and freedoms of USERS and has communicated the appropriate information for them to be able to exercise them.
